After working from the comfort of my home, receiving payments has always been my main concern. A couple of years back, I used to receive payments through wire transfers, which meant I could wait anywhere between 5 – 8 business days. This is quite a long time if you need to sort

urgent issues, right?
For a very long time, I explored the internet tirelessly day and night hoping that at one point I’d find a peace of mind and erase my troubled memories of coping with wire transfers. Well, back then it wasn’t unusual to find Kenyans who had worked online, but stranded – without knowledge of how they could withdraw funds from Paypal.
So, one night as I was busy surfing the net, I stumbled upon something interesting – Payoneer! I took my time to study how they operated and whether I was eligible to be issued with a prepaid debit master card. Interestingly, I came across similar information in one of my online work accounts. For this reason, I became elated and wanted to learn more about the new added payment method.
Anyone new to this will ask me what Payoneer is, right? Well, Payoneer is an online payment Solutions Company that allows companies to pay workers through branded prepaid Debit Master Cards.
After carefully reading through their terms and conditions, I selected Payoneer as my Primary payment method. I submitted my details and in a few minutes, I had my account created and approved. Later, my card was issued and sent via regular mail – meaning that it would take 25 – 35 days to arrive in my address box here in Nairobi.
Luckily, all went alright and after about a month, I received my prepaid debit master card. Having selected Payoneer as my primary payment method, I received an announcement on payout day that I had received funds from my employer. I was filled with euphoria and proceeded to accept the payment.
The message I received contained 3 prompts, i.e. 1) Standard Load (takes 2 business days – No charge), 2) Immediate Load – card loaded within 2 hours (Charge - $5), and 3) Option to choose current plan next time.
Since I needed money urgently, I was forced to choose option 2, and in about 5 – 10 minutes, my card was loaded. As a result, $5 was deducted from my card balance which was considerably fair. I still use Payoneer to date, and as a matter of fact, I just received my third replacement card yesterday.
Withdrawing from Paypal
It gets no better when you receive your hard earned cash working online jobs. I have literary assisted many people who have had funds stuck in Paypal accounts – of course earning commissions. But to help anyone out there whose going through similar mayhem, I decided to share valuable information on how to go about it.
I presume that anyone reading this post has funds or intends to receive funds in his/her Paypal account. If that is the case, you will need to carefully follow these steps on how to withdraw your Paypal funds.
Step 1
Register and apply for a Payoneer Prepaid Debit Master Card here.
Step 2
Once step one has been achieved and you have received your card, apply for a US Payments Services with Payoneer (This can be done in your account’s control panel). Wait for approval and assigning of a US Payments Services account (Normally, this is a sub-account of a US bank operated by Payoneer) and ensure you go through terms and conditions.
Step 3
After approval, you will need to get your Paypal account verified. To execute this step, log in to your Paypal account – on the dashboard, you will see a verify account link which allows you to link your Payoneer and Paypal accounts.
Step4
Once the two accounts are linked together, you can now transfer your funds from Paypal to Payoneer. It usually takes 3 – 4 days to reflect on your Payoneer online account. Afterwards, you can withdraw or purchase items from online stores worldwide where Master Card is accepted.
